Job Requirement

CA (Chartered Accountant) – desirable/CMA / MBA – Finance from a reputed University with 4-5 years’ experience

• Required skills and qualifications
• Five or more years of professional accounting experience
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
• Experience in managing commercial and financial operations at unit /plant /branch operations
• Managing the financial planning and analysis (FPA) profile including budgeting, reporting etc.
• Working with various units to ensure financial controls and discipline
• Identifying, taking up and resolving all commercial issues internally as well as with the respective counterparties (hostels/universities)
• Working together with other finance and accounting team members to ensure all common goals are met

• Prepare and manage unit-level budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide actionable insights to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with unit heads to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Support decision-making by providing financial models and scenario analyses.
• Monitor and control unit-level performance against KPIs and budgets.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
