Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with MBA in Operations Management
  • 12 + years of experience in a manufacturing or factory / plant operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving production targets
  • Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization and quality management systems, including implementation and documentation would be added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees. Passion for team development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible to oversee all aspects of the operations, drive production growth,
and foster a motivated and collaborative workforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership
skills, the ability to create an emotional connection with employees, and a focus on operational
excellence to achieve organizational goals.
  1. Drive the operations through systematic planning and execution:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to achieve production growth and meet organizational objectives.
  • Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
2. Align Operations with Business Objectives:
  • Identify and implement key initiatives that contribute to achieving the organization’s strategic business goals.
  • Align production and operational strategies with market demands, financial objectives, and growth targets.
  • Drive cost control and profitability while ensuring high-quality output to maintain a competitive edge.
3.Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, building strong emotional connections with employees to drive motivation and engagement.
  • Develop and mentor teams, promoting professional growth and aligning efforts with the company's vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operations are synchronized with sales, supply chain, and customer requirements.
  • Act as a key liaison between operations and senior leadership to support company-wide decision-making.
4. Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on key performance indicators, including production metrics, operational challenges, and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on factory performance and align operational goals with overall company objectives.
