Job Requirements:
- B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with MBA in Operations Management
- 12 + years of experience in a manufacturing or factory / plant operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and achieving production targets
- Strong understanding of production planning, process optimization and quality management systems, including implementation and documentation would be added advantage.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees. Passion for team development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing operations.
The individual will be responsible to oversee all aspects of the operations, drive production growth,
and foster a motivated and collaborative workforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership
skills, the ability to create an emotional connection with employees, and a focus on operational
excellence to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive the operations through systematic planning and execution:
- Lead and manage end-to-end operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to achieve production growth and meet organizational objectives.
- Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and implement key initiatives that contribute to achieving the organization’s strategic business goals.
- Align production and operational strategies with market demands, financial objectives, and growth targets.
- Drive cost control and profitability while ensuring high-quality output to maintain a competitive edge.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, building strong emotional connections with employees to drive motivation and engagement.
- Develop and mentor teams, promoting professional growth and aligning efforts with the company's vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operations are synchronized with sales, supply chain, and customer requirements.
- Act as a key liaison between operations and senior leadership to support company-wide decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on key performance indicators, including production metrics, operational challenges, and improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on factory performance and align operational goals with overall company objectives.
