Job Requirements:
- Qualified CA
- 15-20 years of relevant post qualification experience. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field .
- Proven 8-10 years of experience as a finance leader in a rapidly growing company (preference shall be given for consumer electronics experience).
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and adeptly solve complex financial problems.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Audit, Compliance & Taxes
- Ensure timely completion of statutory and internal audits
- Drafting and finalization of annual / quarterly Balance Sheets
- Tax planning to optimize taxes for the Company in accordance with the laws and ensuring timely tax refunds
- Ensuring timely completion of direct/ indirect (GST) filings
- Ensuring timely regulatory compliances (IT/RoC/GST) / management of secretarial functions
- Review of agreements with vendors/ customers.
Data and MIS
- Oversee financial planning including creation of financial models, and monthly/annual budgets in collaboration with the leadership team
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financials MISs and business MISs
- Analyze financial data and assess market conditions to provide insights to the Board/ leadership team.
- Analysing cost/expense trends and deviations and propose necessary actions to improve margins
Cost and Cash flow management
- Management of past and projected cash flows and appraising the Board / senior management of the same.
- Working capital management in accordance with company policies.
- Detailed cost analysis for various products.
- Vendor negotiations / new vendor identification to reduce costs
- Review the financial incentive and schemes as proposed by Marketing Team
- Timely payment to vendors/ banks/employees.
Financing
- Managing relationship with banks/ financial institutions for company/ supply chain financing
- Proving information to shareholders/ investors on timely basis
- Team Building: Building and leading the finance, secretarial and compliance team
- Cultivate a culture of financial discipline and accountability throughout the organization.
