Job Requirements:
•Minimum 15+ years in manufacturing companies
•Masters in Commerce/MBA(Finance)/CA/CPA with proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related role, with a track record of managing financial operations.
•Strong understanding of ERP systems, statutory accounting principles, and internal control policies.
•Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to forecast, budget and analyse financial variances.
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Job Responsibilities:
•Oversee and control day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring smooth financial operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
•Manage the monthly financial close, including recording all costs, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances, and preparing financial reports.
•Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and functional processes to enhance operational efficiency
•Participate in strategic initiatives, including ERP software upgrades and financial systems enhancements.
•Ensure compliance with internal control policies and regulatory requirements, supporting internal audit readiness.
•Partner with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and maintain compliance standards.
•Engage with stakeholders across all levels to produce accurate month-end closes, internal management reports, and various MIS reports on a timely basis.
•Stay updated with statutory accounting practices and GAAP to ensure accurate application and compliance.
•Oversee the preparation, finalization, and filing of financial statements and annual reports with the Income Tax Department.
•Represent the organization in tax authority hearings, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of compliance requirements
•Establish techniques to prevent fraud, recommend policy changes as needed, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
•Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns to maintain compliance.
•Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
