Job Summary:
The role of a Risk Manager is to communicate risk policies and processes for an organisation. The person should be able to develop risk models for strategic, financial, operational and compliance risk and assure that mitigations are effectively designed to address the risk & operating effectively. Risk Manager must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes.

Job Requirements:

• MBA / CA with 10-12year of relevant experience
• Strong experience in enterprise risk management with a pharmaceuticals company
• Thorough knowledge of Risk Management concepts and practices
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional stakeholder management preferred
• Working Knowledge in designing Internal controls frameworks
• Relevant Certifications in Enterprise Risk Management preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery around ERM matrix as defined by the Board
• Responsible for all audits and risk assessment of all activities of the company
• Plan, and ensure timely conduction of internal and external audits.
• Maintain oversight on the risk assessment matrix defined by the Board.
• Present ERM matrix analysis quarterly to the Audit committee and the board
• Provide planning and oversight to the key risks associated with all activities of the company
• Develop risk-based internal audit plan for Audit Committee review and approval
• Oversee the implementation of the approved plan, ensure proper resourcing for implementation of the plan, and adjust the plan as needed in response to changes in business risks, operations, programs, systems and controls.
• Keep senior management and Audit Committee apprised of any changes needed to the internal audit plan.
• Insights on audit and regulatory emerging trends and develop a risk-based approach incorporated into the annual audit plan.
• Coordinate and assist with the preparation of Audit Committee deck. Participate in quarterly or more frequent Audit Committee meeting.
• Identifying, assessing, and monitoring enterprise risks
• Ensuring compliance with risk policies and regulatory requirements
• Developing risk mitigation strategies and action plans
• Bringing technology into enterprise risk management to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and ultimately enhance an organization's ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively
