Job Requirements:

Qualification: CA / CFA / MBA / Equivalent with 8-10 years of work experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in equity research, with a strong focus on the IT and ITES sector.
Proven track record of successfully identifying investment opportunities and generating alpha.
Experience in quantitative analysis and data mining techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to a diverse audience.

Job Responsibilities:

Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the IT and ITES sector, including sub-sectors like IT services, software, hardware, IT-enabled services, and emerging technologies.
Company Analysis: Perform comprehensive financial analysis of key IT and ITES companies, including valuation, financial modelling, and benchmarking.
Market Trends: Identify and analyse emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the IT and ITES sector.
Investment Recommendations: Develop investment recommendations based on thorough research, considering both short-term and long-term market trends.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of analysts, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of excellence.
Client Interactions: Build strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on market trends, investment opportunities, and portfolio performance.
Industry Networking: Maintain active engagement with industry experts, thought leaders, and key stakeholders to stay abreast of industry developments.
Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the firm's thought leadership by publishing research reports, articles, and presentations.
