Job Requirements:

• 7-10 years of post-qualification experience
• LLB from a reputed college
• Should be fluent in English
• Good drafting and oral skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Goal oriented approach
• Self-motivated and keen to continuously learn and improve
• Prior experience in energy/ infrastructure sector is preferred
• Prior experience in a law firm is preferred

• Drafting / review of material communications with government agencies, JV partners, counterparties, regulators, etc.
• Resolution of legal issues arising from time to time including interpretation of contracts and providing guidance to teams on legal issues.
• Drafting/ reviewing agreements and standard templates.
• Analysing prospective transactions, including from due diligence stage, reviewing key documents, disclosure letters, and assisting/ overseeing CP and closing stages.
• Detailed involvement in all litigations for the portfolio companies, reviewing litigation filings, litigation strategies, preparing litigation MIS.
• Overseeing legal operations in portfolio companies.
• Coordinating with all stakeholders, investments team and other teams within the organization.
• Reviewing NDAs, engagement letters and other documents to be executed, maintaining repository of these documents.
• Keeping abreast of key legal developments, case laws etc.
• Working closely with commercial and regulatory teams.
