Job Description
- Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with at least 6-8 years of relevant workexperience.•M-Tech in Power Electronics / Renewable Energy will be added advantage.
- Renewable sector background with Design & Engineering experience for > 1 GWp Solarproject experience would be added advantage.
- Overall knowledge of Electrical Design calculations, PV Array layouts, Inverter station Layouts
- Overall Understanding on Generation Estimation, Overall Plant Layout, Module / SCB Sizing& Selection,Inverter sizing & selection.
- Excellent Knowledge on Software for Generation Estimation (PVsyst), PV Case, LoadFlow/Short Ckt studies, DC Earthing Design, Shadow Analysis.
- Willingness to work on multi-disciplinary teams and managing the internal and externalstakeholder.
- Ability to identify creative solutions to meet the requirement,
- Ability to adapt and deliver under tight deadlines in a professional environment.
- Ability to effectively work in a team while being able to independently drive the work withminimum assistance.
- Ability and willingness to dig deeper into details, while also keeping a sense of the broaderobjectives and big picture.
- Willingness to learn, grow and develop at a personal and professional front, at a rapid pacewith a steep learning curve.

Job Responsibilities:
- Sound Design knowledge of PV Plant design including DC SLD, PV array layout design
- PV Plant Layouts Engineering–Equipment Plan and section drawings, Inverter Stations, DCEarthing, Lightning Protection, Lighting, Cable Trays, Cable Trenches, Inverter TransformerArea, etc.
- Single Line diagram–Key DC SLD, Metering and Protection SLD, Auxiliary AC / DC systemSLD.
- Design calculations–Conductor Shortcircuit & Ampacity calculation, Shielding/LightningProtection, DC Earthing, Lighting, Bus bar sizing, Solar DC/ LT cable sizing, Battery andbattery charger sizing, UPS Sizing, Auxiliary transformer sizing, LA sizing, CT/VT sizing,Relay settings, etc.
- Preparation of Technical specification / Tender documents
- Preparation of BOQ /BOM
- Experience on Robotic Module cleaning system & implementation.
- Preparation of IO list, ICS and Cable Schedule.
- Carrying out Vendor drawing review of PV Plant Equipment’s and Control & ProtectionSystem.
- Knowhow of Local Standards and Codes & applicability of same in design & engineering.
- Actively involved in interdisciplinary coordination for finalization of various EngineeringInterfaces and Site Queries for completion of various activities
