Job Description
Job Requirements:
- 7 to 12 years of retail/distribution sales experience, out of which minimum 5 years of team management experience is essential. Channel Partner sales management exposure in Insurance/BFSI will be an added advantage.
- Education: Minimum Graduate/Post Graduate Preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Territory Head (TH) position in the organisation is a Second Level Leadership (SLL) position that is expected to achieve the Organizational goals for the assigned territory in terms of revenue and cost, develop team members (Corporate Sales Manager (CSM/Sr. CSM), who is a First Level Leader - FLL) and duly maintain an engaging relationship with the channel partners of the mapped geography.
- Maintaining professional engagement levels consistently with the Channel Partner Leadership Teams (including Branch Head, Cluster Head, Circle Head, TPP team, etc.,) leading to minimal escalations and ensures service resolution within TAT and achieves business objectives.
- Accountable to drive Business Sales KPIs pertaining to Top-line, Market share, Product Mix, Up-Sell, SLG and 13th month Persistency and Control Attrition which means the TH is also accountable to drive overall persistency, threshold level market share and a profitable product mix (Term share) for the mapped Territory.
- Plan the Business Travel for the month/quarter and ensure the same is been fulfilled to engage team and drive business objectives.
- Develop the CSM/Sr. CSM skills (First Level Leadership - FLL) and ensure they manage their direct reportees (FLS) with apt/right engagements leading to low attrition and high productivity levels in the Territory.
- Invest time and efforts towards developing the FLL skills and competencies to ensure they manage their FLS fraternity efficiently and thereby leading to higher channel partner engagement and reduced attrition.
- Build one's own team through Referrals and ensure 100% manning overall for the month
- Accountable to ensure the 0-6 months FLS engagements are been done timely and aptly by the FLLs leading to FLS's on time probation success (includes conducting timely On-the-Job training support by FLL).
- Ability to manage the multi-task activities pertaining to Sales Management Process, First Time Right on Login to Conversion, Org. initiatives, Contests, Personal & Business Hygiene, etc., are been efficiently driven and sustained in the Territory.
- Maintain collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders and thereby fulfill business objectives seamlessly
- Strong sales planning, Competitive Team management & Channel partner management, and one who is Ambitious to drive the business cum organizational objectives with desired quality and pace.
- Strongly preferred to have good understanding towards various business MIS, data interpretation, dashboard preparation and timely publishing cum review with channel partners and the internal team to drive and sustainably achieve the business objectives.
- A good communication skill to influence customers/stakeholder (internal and external).
