VP - Client Relations & Secondary Market Operations

Job Description

Job Requirements:
Technical:
1. Thorough knowledge of in-house developed operational software
2. Keeping up-to date all client related master data
3. Ensure web site correctly reflects calendar & news snippets on book closures, dividends etc
4. Billing inputs are proper & in time
5. Changes in regulations / laws / rules etc are properly implemented in system
6. Confirm that all relevant corporate actions are properly executed

Administrative:
1. Continuous assessment of team members
2. Approving leave plans
3. Identifying training needs especially in domain areas and ensuring learning for team members

Key Success Indicators:
1. Clients' feedback
2. Rate increases of existing clients
3. Productivity enhancements especially in terms of Units handled by CCs
4. Debtors under 90 days
5. Qualification - Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce, Inter CS, CS, Inter CA, management degree / diploma etc
6. Experience - 10 years or more
7. Capabilities required - Domain knowledge, team leadership skills, fair communication & proactive approach

Job Responsibilities:
1. Continuously meet / exceed agreed service standards
2. Guiding & controlling all client coordinators
3. Obtain client sign offs on rate increase proposals and other special jobs
4. Collect dues & ensure Debtors stays within 90 days
5. Submit all agreed periodic reports to management
6. Dissemination of relevant information on all related developments to clients
7. Timely, accurate dividend processing, AGM related activities & support
8. Timely, accurate processing of special jobs like postal ballots, bonus etc.
9. Filing of regulatory reports accurately & as per schedule - SEs / SEBI / Depositories
10. Obtaining clean audit reports
11. At scheduled regular intervals meet clients
