Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development within the financial services industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and meeting targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities to establish and maintain profitable relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to expand the company’s outreach and generate new business opportunities within the B2B financial services sector.
  • Utilize market intelligence and data analytics to identify potential clients, understand industry trends, and evaluate competitive landscape to formulate business development initiatives.
  • Lead the business development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Client Experience and Product Development to align strategies and drive successful product launches and client acquisitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective clients, industry influencers, and partners to expand the company’s network and gain market credibility.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions to secure profitable deals that are in line with company targets and objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs in order to proactively identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions for business growth.
  • Leverage digital tools and technologies to streamline business development processes and enhance productivity.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients that effectively articulate the value proposition and benefits of our products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations to the COO.
