Job Description

Job Requirement: 
 

  • Education: MBA/ CA 
  • Experience of 20+ years, including business leadership roles with exposure to Retail Lending, preferably in Co-operative Banks, Financial Institutions of NBFC 
  • Good experience in strategic planning, implementation of strategies to increase sales and bottom-line profit 
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving revenue goals. 
    Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills 
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset 

Job Responsibilities: 

Strategy and Business Development: 

  • Looking for a dynamic and experienced CBO to lead and scale the retail asset lending business portfolio of the bank 
  • Define and drive the overall business strategy, develop long term growth plans  
  • Drive growth strategy, business development, partnerships, collections and profitability of this vertical 
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities, geographies and partnerships 
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention strategies 
  • Build and manage high performing sales team across regions 
  • Optimise sales channels for greater outreach 

 

Product Development and Risk: 

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of products and services 
  • Drive innovation in lending, credit underwriting, and digital platforms 
  • Collaborate with credit, risk, collection, and compliance teams to ensure balanced portfolio growth 
  • Monitor portfolio quality and implement corrective strategies as needed 

 

Stakeholder Management: 

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including financial institutions, regulators, and ecosystem partner 
  • Represent the bank at any forum or policy formation
